Neues Dying Light 2-Update fixt verheerenden Death Loop-Bug

Techland has released a new update for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which fixes a pretty nasty bug. In addition, a new memory function is introduced, which should prevent too much loss of game progress in the future.

For the time being, the download is only available on the PC, but as soon as Sony and Microsoft give their okay, the patch is also rolled out on PlayStation and Xbox.

That's behind the Deathloop Bug in Dying Light 2

Death loop bug: Deathloop is a great game, but in Dying Light 2 a journey through time can have evidence. The Death Loop Bug causes you to die immediately when loading a game, whereupon the Save is reloaded, and so on.

If your character does not want to watch ad infinitum in the demise, you have to load another score, even if that means the loss of some game progress. According to the developer studio, however, the bug should no longer occur with the patch.

New memory system: So that such problems can no longer appear in the future, Techland has a completely new memory function integrated - so-called backup saves. These are automatic memory levels created at certain points in the main history. So you can travel to these places at any time, but then have to take advantage of the equipment and upgrade, which it had at the time.
