Expansion of challenge opportunities… Nexon held the 7th 'Youth Programming Challenge'

Nexon (CEO Lee Jung-heon) announced on October 27 that it will hold the 7th Nexon Youth Programming Challenge 2022 (NYPC).

This year, NYPC reorganizes the existing qualifying competition into a round system in a total of two rounds. Nexon will expand the existing qualifying competitions to enable participants to challenge the competition and to select the finalists, and to change the existing qualifying competition to enable more fair and careful evaluation.

Round 1 will be conducted on absolute evaluation for five days from August 18 to August 22, and a number of problems using Nexon Game IP will be presented. Participants will advance to Round 2 when they get a certain score or more.

Round 2 will be held on August 28 and September 3, and participants will solve the problem during the time limit. NYPC selects the finalists as the same person in each two-day round.

The finals will be held at the Pangyo Nexon office on October 29. The winners of the competition will be awarded to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 5 million won, and laptops for the winners of the 15th and 19s.

In particular, this year, NYPC will be awarded to all rounds and one of the rounds. In addition, it will offer special awards to 500 scores of the Round 2. Applications for participation are received from July 13 to August 22 through the official NYPC website, and anyone who is 12 years old or 19 years old who is interested in programming can participate.
