The Live Action of Disney squeeze the accelerator: Mermaid, Snow White and more

The D23 Expo of Disney continues to provide news. We collect here a few that have something in common: they tell us about the movies Live Action bed on animated clsics of the company that are yet to come.

Disney suffered a slow decline for decades that began to disappear with the tremendous success of The Little Mermaid in 1989. What came later w a vertiginous rise that w fed by continuous reinventions and additives. The acquisitions of Pixar (whose collaboration during the 90s made the clear ones that they could not let them escape), Marvel and Star Wars would make the founder of iconic name cry with emotion.

revitalizing modern clsics and the occional older

The Pericles that followed the Little Erma Cinema in general. It is worth studying what Disney got in those years after an endless pilgrimage by the desert.

In an attempt to bring back those clsics, Disney h determined something that not everyone sees necessary: convert those cartoon clsics into real image movies (although well, CGI if we talk for example of the Lion King). And it is questionable because the original films are eternal , the time does not ps through them and dazzle to adults and the same way the years ps. It seems that this lt maneuver does not respond to a public and business need.

The result for now, we know is unequal. The Lion King, Aladdin, the Beauty and the Bet, the Lady and the Vagabond have already arrived, with reinventions on the 101 Dalmatians and a Pinocchio that h just landed. But what about what is yet to come?

In the D23 Expo we have known that Snow White will arrive in 2024. Rachel Ziegler, protagonist of the West Side Story of Spielberg will play the innocent girl while Gal Gadot will leave ide her super heroin face in Wonder Woman to embody the witch bad. At 2024 the sequel to El Rey León is also left: MUFA ; and Peter Pan , which will arrive next year, h been seen in a beautiful poster.

Finally, more sounded by having a set date and for a series of reons that are making the usual ones nervous, we have a trailer of The Mermaid , starring Halle Bailey. Its launch will be on May 26, 2023. Taking into account what Disney owes to the original film, we are sure they will try to do their best.
